Terms of Service

What this covers

These terms govern your use of notanATS (the “Service”), operated by notanATS (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

notanATS is currently in beta. Features may change, and the service may experience downtime. We will give you reasonable notice before making changes that affect your data.

What notanATS does

notanATS is a hiring platform that uses AI-powered structured conversations to screen candidates against job-specific criteria you define. The platform provides transparency scores and dimension-based evaluations to help you identify aligned candidates.

Pricing and billing

notanATS operates on a postpaid monthly model. No credit card is required to sign up.

• Free tier: Your first 2 job positions include unlimited completed interviews. No charge.
• Additional positions: Each new job position includes 10 free completed interviews. After that, $2 per completed interview.
• Billing cycle: Usage is billed monthly in arrears. You will receive an invoice by email.
• What counts as completed: An interview is completed when a candidate finishes the full screening conversation. Partial sessions are not charged.

Pricing may change with 30 days' written notice to your account email. Changes apply to usage after the notice period, not retroactively.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You must provide accurate information about yourself and your organization
• One account per person. Do not share credentials
• You must be 18 or older to use the Service

What you can do

• Post job positions and define screening criteria
• Review AI-generated candidate evaluations
• Manage your hiring pipeline
• Export your data at any time

What you cannot do

• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI scoring models
• Submit false or misleading job postings
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Service without written permission
• Harass, discriminate against, or mistreat candidates through the platform
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service

Your data

You own your data. Job postings, screening criteria, notes, and hiring decisions belong to you. You can request a full export or deletion at any time by emailing support@notanats.com.

Candidate data belongs to the candidates. You may access candidate evaluations and interview responses for the purpose of making hiring decisions for positions they applied to. You may not use candidate data for unrelated purposes, sell it, or share it outside your organization without the candidate's consent.

AI-generated evaluations

Candidate scores and evaluations are generated by AI. They are decision-support tools, not decisions. You are responsible for your own hiring decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated evaluation.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” during beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for hiring decisions you make based on AI evaluations
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
• We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or uninterrupted service during beta

Termination

• You can close your account at any time. Email support@notanats.com and we will delete your data within 30 days
• We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice unless the violation is severe
• On termination, we will provide a reasonable window to export your data

Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
